Nuclear Activity Computation
Objectives:
- Alignment to European Union methodology;
- Design and completion of informational systems for:
- Maintaining the economical functionality of nuclear installations in safety condition;
- Management of nuclear waste, active fuel and nuclear installations decommission;
- Estimate the radiological impact of nuclear activities on population;
- Information and learning the population with regard to the activity from nuclear energy, risk;
- Assisted decision;
- Improving the informational system of SCN Pitesti and RAAN.
Research perspectives:
- Investigation of methods for lining-up to UE methodology;
- Procedure elaboration for QA implementation in informational field;
- Effort evaluation for design, completion and implementation of expert system;
- Design, completion and implementation of expert system;
- Stabilirea sistemelor informatice distribuite ce pot fi realizate tinand cont de specificul activitatii institutului;
- Making of some components for RAAN intranet network;
- International participation for parallel computation;
- Development of parallel computer technical, neuronal networks, Petri networks and fuzzy logical in modeling.
Main results of research:
- Database for IT systems;
- Implementation of specific methods to distribute calculation for nuclear energetic computer codes;
- Distribute processing system applications.
