Objective:
Assurance of economic and predictable operation of NPP - Cernavoda Reactor Fuel Channel based on experimental and theoretical investigations and periodic inspections results.

- Deformation Mechanics and Behavior under Irradiation;
- Techniques and Methods for Non-destructive Evaluation;
- Fuel Channel Maintenance Technologies;

- Structural Integrity Assessment.

- Thermo-mechanical and Microstructure Analysis Development on Structural Materials used in the Fuel Channel;

- FEM Analysis on Components containing Sharp or Blunt Flaws;
- “Fitness-for-Service” Assessments, according to API 579 or BS 7910 Standards;
- “Fitness-for-Service” Assessments, in accordance with the Canadian Standard CSA CAN-N285.4-05 “Technical Requirements for In Service Evaluation of Zirconium Alloy Pressure Tubes in CANDU Reactors”.
