General and specific objectives of the project.
The
general objective of the project regards mainly the collaboration among
experts collectives which develop the activity in the complementary fields,
the development of the institutional association among
universities/academies – research institutes – the small and intermediate
company, the creation of scientific and technologic integrated clusters
which allow the enhancement of technological authority and the promotion of
the knowledge and technologies transfer in the materials field, the creation
of the clean products, processes, and technologies, the optimization of
obtained methods for the interest materials, the development of new
materials, products and processes with a high added value, the development
of a new scientific direction on the approached theme for the affiliation of
the researches from the frame of this project to the European/ worldwide
research themes (Eureka, NATO, FP7), fact which conducts to an enhancement
of Romania’s competitivity in the domain of materials research. The proposal
project, is part of an interdisciplinary field, combining the research
activities specific techniques of materials science, mechanical engineering,
powder metallurgy respectively, radiochemistry, the irradiation technology,
conferring the theme a distinct grade of complexity, and needing a high
authority grade of members, aligning the theme to the European research in
the field and directing it to the specific themes of a multiple
technological European platforms (EUMAT, PT4 etc.)
The
specific objective
of the
program is the determination and the testing of the demand knowledge, of the
technologies and characterizations methods of materials for the obtaining of
irradiation targets from Co and Ir with Al interrmetallic compounds. For the
accomplishment of specific objectives, the activities may be grouped like
this:
-The activities for the production of
irradiation targets from intermetallic compounds
-The activities for the characterization of
obtained materials in all fabrication process phases
-Irradiation tests of metallic compounds and
postirradiation examination
-Dissemination of results, the integration
in the European projects financed in the frame of PC7
