NUCLEAR PROTOTYPES
Objectives:
- To provide technical support for research and experimental works performed by SCN;
- Putting into practice, as fast as possible, of research results, with applicability in nuclear and non-nuclear areas;
- Manufacturing of equipment and devices for customers.
Activities:
- Preparation of execution technologies, technical procedures and control plans, in accordance with projects/contracts requirements;
- Completion of services, devices, experimental and prototype models, based on execution designs, outline specifications or requirements issued by research/design departments;
- Design and execution of devices and equipment necessary for production;
- Elaboration of specifications for special process and insurance of their homologations;
- Execution and test of different products at the request of internal and external customers.
Certification:
The works performed within the workshop are complying with the System of the Quality Management forecasts and with the norms of CNCAN and ISCIR.
Main achievements:
- Equipment and devices necessary for the completion of research contracts of SCN;
- Equipment and devices intended for customers in the nuclear and industrial area.
