Work Plan
- Stage I. – Researches for performance establishment of the technical level required for the accreditation of the analysis methods and corrosion evaluation. Deadline: December 10.2006
- Study to set up the requirements necessary for accreditation of the laboratory by RENAR and identification of the corrosion characterization methods, for metallic degraded components from nuclear installations, as well as checking of capabilities of the utilized equipment. Initiation by CNCAN of notification for corrosion analysis and evaluation methods;
- Courses and training.
- Stage II. – Elaboration and verification of the new test methods. Deadline: August 31.2007
- Description and verification of the corrosion analysis and evaluation methods by testing of established methods performances and parameters determination of the utilized equipment.
- Stage III. – Activity preparation of experience for the “Analysis and diagnosis of corroded metallic components in nuclear installations”. Deadline: October 31.2007
- Elaboration/updating of the specific technical procedures for corrosion analysis and evaluation of degraded metallic components in nuclear installations;
- Elaboration of a programme for training of operative personnel;
- Participation to Corrosion Conferences;
- Deposition of accredited documentation at RENAR.
- Stage IV. – Accreditation of corrosion analysis, evaluation and diagnosis methods for corroded metallic components and dissemination of information regarding service offers of the laboratory. Deadline: January 31.2008
- Accreditation of the methods used, based on the demonstration of laboratory capability in the analysis and diagnosis of the corroded metallic components;
- Dissemination of information by preparing a presentation material of the services, offered by analysis and diagnosis laboratory on the corrosion of degraded metallic components in nuclear installations;
- Organization of a workshop.
