Objectives
The project intends to create and develop a testing laboratory which will apply methods widely recognized in the international scientific community for the purpose of characterization of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel. These methods are also applicable for the decommisioning of nuclear facilities.
We intend to:
- improve the analysis methods for the caracterization of radioactive waste;
- implement new analytical methods;
- extend the laboratory infrastructure;
- accredit LABORAD by the qualified national institutions (RENAR, CNCAN) as specialized laboratory for radioactive waste characterization.
